Welcome to Cringila Children's House!

Our inclusive program focuses on play based learning through projects, loose parts and open ended play! We are so excited to show some of the wonderful environments that have been set up this year already and you can keep an eye out on Facebook and Instagram for further updates and images!

This is an open ended construction area that encourages the children to use their sense of agency to explore. It encourages the trajectory schema with building and the utilisation of a variety of materials.

EYLF: 2 Children are connected with and contribute to their world.

The arts and craft area within the preschool is a very popular section of our room. It is always open for the children to create and process their creativity. The children are always utilising the standing easel alongside the art table to document their learning throughout the day.

EYLF: 5 Children are effective communicators

Home corner is an important part of play as children can experiment and play out scenes from their home and community in a safe environment that doesn't invoke consequences. Being able to play with real life tools, objects and roles, encourages emotional regulation.

EYLF: 1 Children have a strong sense of identity

We recently invited some new friends into our school and the children are increasingly invested in their wellbeing. they also enjoy watching the fish, settling in by saying good morning to them and often use the arts and crafts items, to paint or draw them.
